Biomedical Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
· Perform preventive maintenance and calibration schedule for medical equipment.
· Develop and update medical equipment inventory.
· Supervise any installation of new devices with responsible supplier.
· Develop and apply all required equipment labels such as preventive maintenance, out of service labels, and electrical safety labels.
· Regular check the medical equipment’s performance.
· Contact suppliers, providing service to the hospital.
· Comply with the hospital infection control guidelines.
· Organize and demonstrate training for new equipment.
· Contribute with the team in any technical Problem.
· Monitor the performance and quality of the service contracts with KPIs indicators periodically.
· Review medical equipment recalls and take appropriate actions to ensure the affected equipment is tested or removed from service, where appropriate.
· Cooperate with the manager to prepare annual plans for the department and renewing service contracts.
· Technical specification and conditions preparation for purchasing new medical equipment.
· Technical evaluation of the announced tenders.

Requirements:
> Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering.
> Minimum of 2 Years (Hospitals background is preferred).
Language skills: Good command of English language.
Working Conditions: Days off: 2 days
Working hours: 8 hours
