Job Description
As a Charge Nurse in our ICU/LTVU (Intensive Care Unit/Long-Term Ventilation Unit), you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. You will lead a team of dedicated nurses, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, and play a key role in the development of care plans for critically ill and long-term ventilated patients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in an ICU or LTVU setting.
- Current and valid nursing license from the UAE or country of origin.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in specialized rehabilitation and long-term care settings is preferred.
- Fluency in English & Arabic is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based care.
- Lead the unit’s operational activities, ensuring smooth daily functioning.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
