Clinic Manager

Job Description

The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic to ensure smooth functioning, regulatory compliance, financial efficiency, and high-quality patient care. This role involves managing staff, finances, procurement, and facility maintenance while ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop the clinic’s business plan in collaboration with management, aligning with group standards.
  • Define strategic and operational goals.
  • Set pricing strategies based on market analysis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement quality control measures.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations, including patient scheduling, staff management, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Manage patient flow to reduce waiting times and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with UAE health regulations.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities for inspections and license renewals.

Regulatory Compliance (MOH):

  • Ensure full compliance with MOH guidelines, including hygiene, equipment, and staff qualifications.
  • Prepare for MOH inspections and audits, ensuring documentation is current.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory updates and implement necessary adjustments.

Financial Management:

  • Manage budgets and monitor expenses to meet revenue targets.
  • Oversee billing, insurance claims, and financial reporting.
  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage clinical and administrative staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, foster a positive work culture, and optimize staff scheduling.

Patient Experience & Client Relations:

  • Maintain high customer service standards and handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with MOH guidelines in providing clear patient information.
  • Collect and analyze patient feedback to enhance services.

Marketing & Business Development:

  • Develop marketing strategies for Dental and Chiropractic services.
  • Stay updated on market trends and introduce innovative offerings.
  • Execute promotional events and build partnerships to grow the clinic’s client base.

Inventory & Supplier Management:

  • Manage procurement and inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Negotiate cost-effective contracts with suppliers.

Health & Safety Management:

  • Ensure adherence to MOH hygiene and infection control standards.
  • Oversee maintenance of medical equipment and implement safety protocols.
  • Develop emergency response plans in line with UAE regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 7–12 years in healthcare facility management, ideally within Dental, Chiropractic, or Physiotherapy services.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and operational management abilities.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations, clinic management software, insurance processes, and financial management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Other Requirements: Valid UAE driving license.
