Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultations and assessments for pediatric patients with various hematological conditions
  • Establish and oversee treatment plans for patients, tailored to their specific needs and medical history
  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams, laboratory testing, and interpret diagnostic results
  • Monitor patients’ progress and make adjustments to treatment plans when necessary
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatment options
  • Keep patient records up-to-date and ensure complete and accurate documentation
  • Take part in research and academic activities, including presenting at conferences and publishing papers

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine degree and specialized training in Pediatric Hematology
  • Board certification in Pediatric Hematology (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Hematologist
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in managing a wide range of pediatric hematological conditions
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and results, and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Must be Western-trained
