Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultations and assessments for pediatric patients with various hematological conditions
- Establish and oversee treatment plans for patients, tailored to their specific needs and medical history
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams, laboratory testing, and interpret diagnostic results
- Monitor patients’ progress and make adjustments to treatment plans when necessary
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatment options
- Keep patient records up-to-date and ensure complete and accurate documentation
- Take part in research and academic activities, including presenting at conferences and publishing papers
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine degree and specialized training in Pediatric Hematology
- Board certification in Pediatric Hematology (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Hematologist
- In-depth knowledge and experience in managing a wide range of pediatric hematological conditions
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and results, and provide accurate diagnoses
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Must be Western-trained
