Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive consultations, physical examinations, and diagnose conditions related to the genitourinary system
- Conduct surgical procedures as required, including minimally invasive techniques and open surgery
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with urological conditions, including prostate issues, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and more
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, including collaborating with oncologists, nephrologists, and radiologists
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in urological treatments and participate in ongoing education and training programs
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff, including training and mentoring
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards, as outlined by the Dubai Health Authority
Qualifications And Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Urology
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Dubai
- At least 5 years of experience as a practicing Consultant Urologist
- Expertise in diagnosing and treating urological conditions, including surgical experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients and colleagues
- Must be Western-trained
