Position Overview: As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering primary healthcare services to patients of all ages. You will provide preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and ongoing care for a wide range of medical conditions. Your role will also involve working closely with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, holistic care for patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive family medicine services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for various medical conditions.
- Offer preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients and their families.
- Manage chronic conditions and provide follow-up care as necessary.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Stay current with the latest developments in family medicine, including medical advancements and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
- Provide emergency care as required in the clinic.
- Participate in health promotion activities and community outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Family Medicine or MRCGP or equivalent medical degree.
- License: Valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in family medicine, preferably in a medical center or hospital setting.
- Skills:
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage diverse patient needs and work under pressure.
- Team player with a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Proficiency in medical documentation.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
