General Practitioner – Functional & Regenerative Medicine

Job Description

Getchecked Clinic is seeking a General Practitioner with a specialization in Functional & Regenerative Medicine to join our dynamic healthcare team. The role focuses on providing patient-centered care by blending conventional medical practices with integrative and functional medicine approaches. The ideal candidate will assess patients holistically, identify underlying causes of illness, and develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize prevention, health optimization, and wellness
.Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis:
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic tests. Focus on discovering root causes of illness and addressing chronic conditions through functional medicine principles.
• Holistic Treatment Plans:
• Develop individualized care plans based on integrative treatments, blending conventional medicine with lifestyle interventions such as nutrition, stress management, supplements, and detoxification.
• Chronic Disease Management:
• Utilize functional medicine to manage chronic conditions such as autoimmune diseases, metabolic disorders, digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances. Promote preventative care and health restoration.
• Collaboration with Specialists:
• Work closely with specialists in genetics, stem cell therapy, and other departments to integrate cutting-edge treatments into patient care plans, offering a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach.
• Patient Education:
• Educate patients on their condition, wellness strategies, and treatment options, focusing on empowering them to take control of their health through lifestyle changes and preventative measures.
• Diagnostic Testing:
• Recommend and interpret advanced functional diagnostic tests, including food sensitivity panels, gut health testing, hormone panels, and genetic profiling, to identify imbalances in the body.
• Ongoing Monitoring & Support:
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up care to patients, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other Getchecked Clinic professionals, including nutritionists, physiotherapists, and genetic counselors, to provide a coordinated approach to care.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD, MBBS) with a valid license to practice.
• Certification or training in Functional Medicine (e.g., IFMCP from the Institute for Functional Medicine or similar programs).
• Experience in both conventional and functional medicine, with a strong focus on chronic disease management, integrative health, and patient education.
• Knowledge of genetic testing, nutrition, and holistic wellness practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on complex health topics.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
