Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of home healthcare staff to ensure adequate coverage
- Manage communication between healthcare providers, patients, and families to facilitate care planning and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and agency policies
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of homecare staff to ensure the highest standards of care
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members
- Address any operational issues that arise and implement corrective action as needed
- Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and operational metrics
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to discuss patient care and operational improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field
- Previous experience in operations coordination or management in the healthcare sector, preferably in homecare
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support a patient-centered approach to care
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards relevant to homecare services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
