Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough orthodontic assessments and examinations, including diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients requiring braces, aligners, and other orthodontic devices.
- Provide clear and effective communication to patients and their families regarding treatment options, progress, and expected outcomes.
- Perform orthodontic procedures, including braces installation, adjustments, and maintenance, as well as clear aligner treatments.
- Monitor and adjust orthodontic appliances to ensure proper alignment and optimal results.
- Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Stay current with advancements in orthodontic techniques and technology.
- Educate patients on proper oral care during orthodontic treatment.
- Adhere to all medical protocols, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Dental degree (BDS/DMD) and Master’s degree in Orthodontics (MDS/MSc/DDS or equivalent).
- Board certification in Orthodontics (if applicable).
- Proven experience in orthodontic care and treatment.
- Strong knowledge of current orthodontic methods and technology.
- Excellent patient management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to maintain professional development and certifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
