Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments, including reviewing past medical history, current medications, and psychological evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the client’s needs and goals.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring their effectiveness and side effects.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling services, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, and support groups.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, such as psychologists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Advocate for the mental health needs of clients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, and communicate with healthcare team members regarding treatment progress and changes in medication or therapy plans.
  • Participate in professional development activities, including attending conferences and training programs, to stay current with advancements in the psychiatric field.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Psychiatry
  • DHA License (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • Expertise in prescribing medications and conducting psychotherapy
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills
