Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments, including reviewing past medical history, current medications, and psychological evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the client’s needs and goals.
- Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring their effectiveness and side effects.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, and support groups.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, such as psychologists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Advocate for the mental health needs of clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, and communicate with healthcare team members regarding treatment progress and changes in medication or therapy plans.
- Participate in professional development activities, including attending conferences and training programs, to stay current with advancements in the psychiatric field.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Psychiatry
- DHA License (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Expertise in prescribing medications and conducting psychotherapy
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills
