Sonographer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our team at Unilabs Middle East. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures and be committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Perform and interpret ultrasound imaging procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, fetal abnormality, breast , musculoskeletal and vascular studies.

2) Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety

3) Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-resolution images for diagnostic purposes.

4) Analyze and review images for technical quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to capture optimal results.

5) Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care planning.

6) Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, including patient information and imaging results.

7) Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.

8) Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

9) Provide compassionate care and support to patients, addressing their concerns and explaining procedures as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Ultrasound Technology, or a related field.

2) Valid Sonography certification (e.g., ARDMS, CCI) or equivalent professional accreditation.

3) Proven experience as a Sonographer, with a strong portfolio of diagnostic imaging skills.

4) In-depth knowledge of ultrasound technology and imaging techniques.

5) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

6) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

7) Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.

8) Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

9) Previous experience working in a healthcare sector in the UAE

10) Knowledge of additional imaging modalities or specialized ultrasound techniques

11) DHA license is mandatory.
