Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee wellness programs designed to improve overall health and reduce risk factors for chronic conditions.
Develop and deliver client orientation programs to ensure individuals are informed about available healthcare services and resources.
Partner with vendors to negotiate contractual agreements, manage payments, and ensure the effective implementation of the program.
Work closely with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate wellness programs.
Create and execute marketing strategies to enhance program visibility and encourage participation
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Marketing and Corporate Communications, to create health and wellness newsletters and other marketing materials.
Support culturally and linguistically tailored education activities for program members and organizations.
Monitor and track member progress, analyze health outcomes, and report on wellness program effectiveness.
Organise and participate in events (conferences, seminars, exhibitions) to promote disease management.
Continuously assess program performance and implement improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Nursing, or a related field .
Certified Health Coach, Wellness Coach, or other relevant certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in health coaching, wellness program management, or a similar role, preferably within a health insurance environment.
Skills and Competencies
Strong ability to build relationships and engage with individuals and groups.
Strong understanding of preventive care, chronic condition management, and health promotion strategies.
Very good command of written/spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language is an added advantage
Knowledge of health insurance plans and benefits, including understanding of wellness-related services and preventive care coverage.
Proficiency in evaluating health data and program outcomes to inform improvements.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare compliance
