Job Description
Your Role:
The Unit In Charge will lead and ensure smooth operations of the clinics, to set the highest protocols and standards as per the policies laid down by the organization in coordination with Operations Manager, Nursing Manager and CRM Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
· Identify and evaluate performance targets for the functional departments against set targets.
· Achieve overall profitability and unit objectives in terms of Revenue, Gross profit, Sales, Brand Image, Business development and Market presence.
· Ensure all the operational protocols and standards are implemented and SOPs are adhered to.
· Coordinate with marketing and operations department to identify the relevant target and true potential of each clinic for customization of the activities, monitor and study the response.
· Support the management in overall functioning of the medial centers and assist management in all medical and Physician related concerns at the unit level.
· Ensure that the front office customer care and insurance staff are well oriented and trained in the processes and protocols.
· Create a customer friendly front office team and initiate deliberate and relevant measures to reduce the patient waiting time and smooth flow of patients through various departments.
· Explore the possibilities of “department line” expansion. Ex: starting new departments, getting doctors on visits, setting up new departments like Physiotherapy, Lab, X-ray etc. And prevent losses due to outsourcing Lab and Radiology services to external parties.
· Ensure that all valid statutory documents are maintained in the center and monthly execution of Quality audits is done.
· Organize and conduct medical camps, seminars, etc. periodically.
· Liaise with Asst. Operations Manager, and corporate relations team to ensure the corporate client base, maintain communication with existing clientele and develop new patient base through various internal and external marketing activities.
· Monitor and ensure timely insurance claim submission, follow up on rejections and resubmission.
· Conduct and track periodic performance review; suggest training and development programs for front office, nursing, insurance staff and insurance coordinators and give effective measures to improve performance.
· Project the HR requirements in advance and do the necessary measures in coordination with Operations team & HR department to fulfill the staff requirements.
· Upkeep the inventory of fixed assets and ensure stock accuracy is maintained throughout.
· Monitor that all the staff members are following the grooming protocols.
· Be acquainted with various govt. regulations and rules related to the functioning of the medical centers and manage all inspectors from various govt. authorities in the medical center.
· Support the management in dealing with patient complaints related to clinical quality and attend regular CMEs and encourage colleagues to attend the same.
Education & Experience:
· Diploma in operations, marketing or any similar field.
· 3-4 years of relevant experience with 2 years supervisory experience in Medical Centre in UAE.
· Proven experience in People Management.
· Knowledge of patient and inventory management.
· Knowledge of UAE regulations and standards.
